This journey with distance learning spans over 40 years for me.  I am approaching 60 years of age and I have seen the entire educational system go from books in a library to AR/VR/A1 technology that allows you to learn on your cell phone!  I am not trying to sound like the old man in the rocking chair on my front porch, but I remember a time when computers where not used at all to learn with and get an education.  In my High School, the closest that we had was one of those teletype things that you had to use to get information with a CRT screen.  In 1981, that was big technology, HA ha ha.  

One thing that I have learned over my educational journey is that the education that I wanted does not involve me sitting in a classroom (which I sorely miss)  Getting to hear a Professor speak on a weekly basis for guidance.  Now, with Online courses, CBT's, Digital Classes and Trainings, LMS Systems and Gen Ai/VR/AR you receive the education you need in a completely different way.
