LDT 550 Learning Design Studio has been a complete and utter game changer for me. I have been an Instructional Designer for 20 years, but I have primarily been using Articulate Storyline for the most part, but now, I have been immersed in so many new software applications and I have been overwhelmed. THANK YOU to Penn State for allowing me to learn about the new technolgies that are out there…

My first project in the class was creating a Linkedin banner to show my idea for Sprockets Interactive Media. I do not remember the software package that was used to build it, but I was really intrigued by the idea of building my own website!

Canva has given me the opportunity to learn how to create HTML pages and have given me the ability to create my own website of ideas that will come to light after graduation. I am also starting to use GenAi to create images that will be on the website.

Figma: with this app, I was able to create a patient blog site for Johnson & Johnson’s Multiple Myeloma vaccine CARVYKTI. In this blog site, the patient can document the 16 week journey and give JNJ information on Adverse Events as well as let JNJ know how the patient is feeling. This idea was presented to JNJ and has garnered a massive amount of attention.

I used Adobe Illustrator to create my GenAi image to build my website Home page for “Sprockets Interactive Media Group Page”. This page will focus on Music, Sound Sampling, and Interactive projects.

Next, I used Articulate Storyline to create the software training Computer Based Training for Campbells Foods for “Belonging” This module is in production for the Manufacturing employees and contractors at this time.

My next project was made with Adobe Captivate, in which I did a sound sampling simulation for creating audio samples in a program called Audacity.
